  My partner and I have zero dance background whatsoever, but we wanted to get some choreography done for our first dance in a month. We had a wonderful experience with Ylva — in about 90 minutes we felt like we had a pretty solid foundation for the entire dance! She really is a pro. After hearing our song for only a minute or so, she was able to nail out the best type of dance moves and sequences for the song, and we cannot wait to share it with our family and friends on our wedding day. Thank you Ylva!

  Wes is a fantastic teacher. He’s fun and gives meticulous instruction for salsa moves. On top of that, if you see him dance, wow, just wow. I’m so glad I found this place. My dreams of learning to salsa dance are coming true!

  We took two lessons from Wes less than two weeks before our wedding - we didn’t have much hope with so little time, but Wes taught us a dance we didn’t even think was possible, and made it so fun and easy. Plus he was super encouraging and helpful the whole time - highly recommend!

  Had a phenomenal lesson with Ylva last year, she helped us choreograph an entire routine for our wedding first dance and made us total beginners look like fancy-dancin pros. Highly recommend

  Great Salsa class with Wes! He is very easy to understand & gives great, easy to follow instructions. He moves the class along without people being lost or getting bored. The music tempo is just right at a medium pace. Love it! Can't wait for the next class🤗!

  Would be nice if the school published requirements for joining a class.... before an interested student clears their calendar and makes the trip there. I apologize. It did say advanced class. My mistake.

  Dear Susan: I apologize that you made a special trip to The Pick School for a Class without understanding the level of this class. It is labeled as an Advanced Class online but I will add the requirements so in the future clients will understand that this class is for Advanced Dancers. I can offer you a free class on another night to make up for the trip you made to the studio. I realize you are looking for Samba and I do not have an intermediate class at the moment for this dance.
