How to delete your account and request removal of your personal data.

Bailar, Inc., a Delaware corporation (successor by statutory conversion effective May 4, 2026 to Bailar LLC, a Florida limited liability company) (“Bailar”) allows you to request deletion of your account and personal data. This page explains how to delete your data and what happens when you do. This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which governs all collection, use, and retention of personal information.
HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
Option 1: In-App Deletion
STEP 1
Open the Bailar app and go to your Profile tab.
STEP 2
Tap Settings (gear icon).
STEP 3
Tap Account Management.
STEP 4
Tap Permanently delete account.
STEP 5
Type the confirmation word, choose a reason, and confirm. Your account and data will be scheduled for permanent deletion (see the 30-day processing window below).
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. Include the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and your username or phone number for verification.
We will process email deletion requests within 30 days.
WHAT DATA IS DELETED
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
(a) Your profile information (name, bio, photos, preferences);
(b) Your RSVPs and bookmarks;
(c) Your comments, reviews, and reactions;
(d) Your direct messages;
(e) Your uploaded photos and videos;
(f) Your notification history; and
(g) Your push notification tokens and device information.
WHAT DATA MAY BE RETAINED, AND FOR HOW LONG
Certain data may be retained after account deletion as permitted by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:
(a) Legal compliance and dispute records (up to the limitation period required by applicable law): data required to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful legal process, resolve disputes, defend or enforce agreements, and document safety reports including CSAM reports to NCMEC;
(b) Transaction and tax records (as required by applicable law, typically up to 7 years): payment receipts, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, and tax-relevant marketplace-facilitator records;
(c) Encrypted disaster-recovery backups (up to 90 days): personal information may persist in rolling encrypted backups for up to ninety (90) days after deletion, after which it is rotated out;
(d) Aggregated or de-identified data (indefinite): statistics, counts, and reports that do not identify you personally; restricted by contract or technical safeguard from re-identification; and
(e) Identity-verification (biometric) data (up to 3 years): if you completed instructor or payout identity verification, the government-ID image and selfie facial-match data are retained for up to three (3) years from verification approval under our biometric retention schedule, then destroyed (see Privacy Policy Section 6.7).
PROCESSING TIME
Account deletion is initiated promptly upon your confirmed request. Your profile, posts, comments, and reviews are hidden immediately; all of your personal data — including your reactions (likes) on other users’ content — is permanently removed as your account is deleted, within thirty (30) days. During the deletion window your account is deactivated and your profile and content are no longer visible to other users. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups continue to roll out per the 90-day window described above.
CANCELLATION
If you change your mind after requesting deletion, you may contact us at [email protected] before the deletion is finalized to cancel the request.
