  I highly recommend Alexis as a salsa and bachata teacher! From the moment you walk into her class, you can feel how warm, welcoming, and positive the environment is. She creates a space where everyone feels comfortable — whether you’re brand new or have years of experience — and that makes such a difference. Alexis is incredibly patient and detail-oriented, and you can tell how much she genuinely loves teaching. She breaks things down in a way that actually makes sense, and she takes the time to make sure everyone is keeping up. What I really appreciate is how she connects her students — it doesn’t feel like a random group of people, it feels like a little community where everyone supports each other. She’s also encouraging and uplifting. I left class feeling more confident, inspired, and excited to keep dancing. Even after years of dancing, I found her classes to be engaging and valuable. One of my favorite things is that she makes an effort to dance with everyone, both leads and follows, and gives really helpful, personalized feedback. That kind of attention is rare and makes a huge difference in improving. If you’ve been thinking about trying salsa or bachata — or getting back into it — her class is 100% worth it. It’s fun, energizing, and you’ll walk out smiling (and probably already looking forward to the next one).

  Tonight was my trial class for Alexis’ salsa class. She was fun, thorough and full of energy. The class was balanced with male and female dancers, so we all get to dance with different partners. The participants were all very friendly, not intimidating at all. I had a blast and joined the session!! Love it!

  Alexis is an excellent salsa teacher! Highly recommend taking a salsa class here. I took Salsa 1 with no prior dancing experience and had an absolute blast. By the end of the season, I felt like I could hold my own on the dance floor, all thanks to Alexis. I’m definitely coming back for another season.

  Amazing salsa classes! I had high expectations already thanks to the reviews I’d seen, but I was still blown away. I have absolutely no dance background, and I’ve learned so much in just a handful of weeks thanks to Alexis. She’s a fantastic teacher! It’s so great to learn from somebody who’s not only an expert, but also can explain and demonstrate the techniques in a super accessible way. The classes are small enough that you get plenty of individual attention, but large enough that you can practice with a variety of people. The atmosphere that Alexis creates is really the key. Everything is super friendly and fun while still being productive. Every week I noticeably improve, but also I just always leave class in a great mood (this has been true even on days when I was worried I’d be too tired to enjoy or get anything out of class). Alexis also hosts regular practice parties, where people of all experience levels are welcome. I’ve seen how good her students get, and I’m having a blast working my way up. Really I can’t say enough good things about salsa clases with Alexis!

  Alexis is great. She focuses on details really well. I’ve learned a lot from her. Additionally, she believes in community which has helped me feel more comfortable in her classes. She encourages class outings and is excited to help her students progress. After a class one time, she had no problem staying after to show me how to do a move. I recommend her classes. Also sometimes her cute dog is there :)

  Thank you for appreciating the details William! Not everyone has the patience or desire to learn the intricate details of the hand cues, and lead and follow connection. However, THIS is the stuff that makes you really clean, fast, and smooth! I want my leaders to feel so easy to follow it’s effortless. I know you get it. Thanks for being a part of our tribe!
