Fall Into Dance 2025 at The Dance Complex is a celebratory evening highlighting Greater Boston’s vibrant dance community, and sharing what’s ahead for the 2025–2026 dance season. Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, Fall Into Dance will bring together even more artists, audiences and regional presenters. This year, ArtsBoston joins as a new partner alongside Boston Dance Alliance. Together, we’re building connections across the dance ecosystem and ensuring that audiences discover and support the richness of our region’s dance offerings. What to Expect: A performance by beheard.world A video presentation showcasing highlights from Greater Boston’s upcoming dance season Two-minute live presentations from regional dance presenters, shared both in-person and via livestream A professionally edited highlight reel of the evening’s presentations, available for artists and presenters to share after the event Networking opportunities with ArtsBoston, Boston Dance Alliance, a

An evening to celebrate dance that happened in a year where no one expected it to. Dance stars and audience members gathered to rub zoom-elbows to see snippets of the wonderful performances missed! Hear from some of the artists themselves about what making and performing was like in 2020. *Laura Sanchez’s short film is not included in this recording due to being actively considered for film festivals. We speak with more passion and intent this year, believing in the resounding impact The Dance Complex has created over time but especially in 2020. We need you to say YES to us, YES to dance. We need to ensure the survival of The Dance Complex. Donate now: https://bit.ly/37xkY3C As COVID-19 hit, we at The Dance Complex made sure that we said YES to our communities- teachers, dancers, choreographers, performers, and audiences. We’re held together by movement: online or live; in class or on stage; in dialogue or in action. So, what is our impact? In just 9 months, we created the means by which our Teaching Artists- all micro-business owners who benefit from our subsidized space rental- could begin teaching again. We provided safe space for students to return to in person classes. We produced a virtual 2-day Festival, raised money directly aiding teachers and production costs, presented 16 concerts and dozens of classes and performances as a cultural partner in the safe open air space
What a year 2020 has been! It feels like all the efforts of our 29 years rolled up in one. As COVID-19 impacted our communities, we made sure that The Dance Complex was present for you. Held together by movement, we said YES to our teachers, dancers, choreographers, performers, and audiences by bringing classes, dialogues, and performances to the virtual stage. We are launching our annual appeal where, to keep our goals on target, we are seeking to raise $30,000 by December 31st. Join us on our social media channels on December 1st for #GivingTuesday where you can like, share, and engage with the behind the scenes efforts and the impact we have on our communities. Please support The Dance Complex now so we have the ability to say YES to our 30th anniversary: http://weblink.donorperfect.com/annualfund
